I sure am glad we have this little pool in our backyard. It’s a great setup and Tytus and I have so much fun playing together. This is usually where you can find us right after lunch or right after dinner. I could hang out here all day, but my parents won’t let me. For some reason they think I need to eat and sleep as well as splash. CRAZY! Parents...they just don’t understand.

Play hard. Sleep hard.

I’m one worn out kid today. Tytus and I have been playing and playing and playing, and yes, that’s right, MORE playing!! I’m at that stage where I don’t always need a morning nap, but I start falling asleep before Mommy wants to put me down for my afternoon nap. Today I was so sleepy, I fell asleep sitting up on the couch. Play hard. Sleep hard. That’s what this little Burkhalter boy does.

Did I do that?!

Who did that?! Who made that mess?! Who would have done such a thing?! Oh...it was me! I have discovered that it’s so much fun to dump all the toys out of our toy bucket and into the middle of the living room floor. Once I’ve dumped it, I leave the toys alone and I climb into the bucket. The bucket is so much fun to play in!!! I just love doing this until Mommy tells me it’s clean-up time. Ummmmm.....Tytus did it!!!!!

Little Cabin...on the porch

This little cabin may not be in the woods, but I sure do love playing in it. It’s always so much fun going over to The Casey’s house. Gabe and I always have a great time playing in their little log cabin, and this evening was no different. We had dinner with them at their house tonight and we got to meet their new baby, Mitch. He’s teeny tiny and we all had to be really careful with him. Soon enough he’ll be playing in the cabin with me and Gabe.

I got pretty hot outside today when Tytus and I were playing in the backyard. Mommy turned around to help Tytus strip down and run through the sprinkler and when she turned back around, this is what she found me doing. That’s right, I climbed right into our dog’s water bowl completely clothed. I had my shirt, pants, shoes and socks on. Mommy was taking too long helping Tytus! I had to take matters into my own hands. If you had been playing out in the heat like I had been, you wouldn’t blame me.
