Happy birthday to me!! Happy birthday to me!!! Happy birthday, I’m THREE!!! That’s right, I am three years old today. Can you believe it?! I had a fantastic birthday party over at my Grammy and Papa’s house. I’m pretty sure everyone had a great time. I sure did! Last night when I went to bed Daddy and Mommy asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday. I told them that I wanted to open presents, play with toys, eat yummy cake and not have a nap and not eat peas. This birthday was quite the success because I got to open presents and play with them. I had a delicious cupcake and ice cream. I got to splash in the water, which I forgot to mention last night, but we did it anyway. I did have to take a little nap, but they didn’t make me eat peas. I had a great time and thanks everyone who celebrated with me!

It’s absolutely perfect for me and Brody. We have our own mini-water park. I’ve actually never been to a water park, but this is good enough for me right now. We have our water slide, our pool, some shade if we need it and a place we can sit down and eat if we ever want to. Life is goooooooooood!!!

I’ve never heard of that. What is it?” Well, let me answer that question for you. The Stick-Horse Rodeo is a BIG race at the Western Heritage Classic here in Abilene every spring. It’s a barrel race for kids ages 3-5. Kate and I brought our stick-horses to race. Due to the fact that our horses got a bit nervous to be in front of that screaming crowd, we had to back out of the race. We’ll be back next year though, so tune in to ESPN. I’m sure it will be televised.

I won’t deny it. I love playing with bubbles if I’m the one that’s allowed to be in charge of them. Real men can play with bubbles and be just fine with it. We got to go visit The Casey’s this evening and we always have a great time with them. They have this dog that blows 1000’s of bubbles at once. I created a bubble storm in their backyard. Everyone seemed to be quite impressed with what I did. It was soooooo much fun, as long as I was the one that got to be in charge. I’m sure some of you out there can relate.

I am running around the backyard in my tennis shoes and red undies. It was so hot outside and a boy has to be able to stay cool. It all started out harmless enough, like most things do. We had gone outside to run around a bit and fill up Scout’s (our dog) big water bowl. Well...one thing led to another and here I am, wet, standing in my red undies, and feeling pretty happy. We sure do know how to have some fun around here.
